Bruce Arians had more to say, but was naming players for a different reason today.
Sirius XM NFL tweeted that the Arizona Cardinals head coach said guard Evan Mathis is day-to-day with a foot injury he suffered in their opener against the New England Patriots. He also said that defensive end Frostee Rucker’s veteran leadership will be missed. Rucker went down with a knee injury, that Arians said earlier through Darren Urban of the Cardinals, is a sprained MCL that will cost him two-three weeks.

Arians was spewing mad after the Cardinals lost to the Patriots after a missed field goal in the waning seconds on Sunday night. He told the media he was not scared to call out players by name that didn’t play well, and Bob McManaman took note of some of the players he mentioned.
“He jumped offside when they weren’t even set on a big third down,” Arians said to the media about rookie defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche. “Other than that, he was not a factor.”
Free agent signing Chandler Jones got a 15-yard penalty for a choreographed celebration with safety D.J. Swearinger. Arians felt the need to express himself on that issue as well.
“One of the things that has not happened around here will not happen again,” Arians told the media. “Or you won’t be here.”
