Beasley joins kicker Matt Bryant, running back Terron Ward, cornerback C.J. Goodwin and safety Kemal Ishmael as the five Falcons missing Thursday night’s game. Beasley is expected to be ready to play in the team’s third preseason contest against the Miami Dolphins next week.

Beasley, the eighth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, is expected to take a step forward in his second season after recording 26 total tackles and four sacks as a rookie. He is expected to be ready to play in the team’s third preseason contest against the Miami Dolphins next week.
