Samuel L. Jackson is probably the most famous fan the Atlanta Falcons have, and he’s had it up to about here with the franchise’s shortcomings. Jackson tweeted a few times during Sunday’s overtime loss to the San Diego Chargers, culminating in a surprisingly docile tweet just after a Josh Lambo field goal ended the game.
What a waste of Fan Support!!! Rise Down!!!

Jackson’s gameday tweets are often quite colorful, and the fact that he only used six exclamation points and no dirty words for his Dirty Birds whatsoever shows exactly how sickened he must be. The Falcons fell to 4-3 on the season with the loss and are now just a half-game ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for first place in the NFC South.
The franchise has made the playoffs just 12 times in their 50 seasons of existence and after finishing 8-8 despite a 5-0 start in 2015, the idea that they might squander a 4-1 start is a tough pill to swallow for Falcons fans.
