Baltimore Ravens punter Sam Koch is one of the best players at his position in the NFL. The 12-year veteran is a master directional punter and a perennial Pro Bowl and All-Pro candidate.
On Monday night against the Houston Texans, Koch also made a case for adding emergency quarterback to his list of duties for the Ravens.
On a fourth-and-6 from the Texans’ 41-yard line, Koch lined up in his usual spot. But instead of attempting to pin Houston inside the 10-yard line with a well-placed punt, he took the snap from Morgan Cox and delivered a perfect pass to wide receiver Chris Moore for a 22-yard gain and a first down.

The play ultimately set up a 10-yard touchdown run by Javorious Allen that tied the game at 7-7.
When it was all said and done, Koch’s pass to Moore was the best throw of the night for the Ravens, and it certainly played a big part in their 23-16 victory over the Texans.
