The Buffalo Bills will go into Thursday night’s game a little hobbled.
Bills left tackle Cordy Glenn won’t be available when the team takes on the division rival New York Jets.
According to NFL.com Glenn is declared out.
Glenn re-sprained his left ankle during Buffalo’s 13-7 loss against the Baltimore Ravens. It’s the same ankle that forced the tackle to miss three weeks of training camp.
During the offseason Glenn signed a mega five-year, $65 million contract extension.
Cyrus Kouandjio will likely be inserted into the starting lineup in place of Glenn. The third-year tackle out of Alabama has played well in limited action.
Safety Colt Anderson (foot) is also out Thursday.
Wide receiver Sammy Watkins’ name was on Buffalo’s injury report. Despite saying he would play versus the Jets, Watkins (foot) is listed as questionable. The wideout was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, though, it would be surprising not to see Watkins in the lineup Thursday night.
Here are the other notable players on the Bills’ injury report:
- Defensive tackle Jerel Worthy (knee) was back at practice on a limited basis on Wednesday and is questionable for Thursday.
- Tight end Charles Clay (knee) was limited in practice and is listed as questionable.
- Cornerback Kevon Seymour (hamstring) is also questionable for Thursday night.
