Bills CB Tre’Davious White: Winning is best revenge against Rob Gronkowski
All 22’s New England Patriots Facebook Live suggested that cornerback Tre’Davious White and the Buffalo Bills might seek revenge, within the confines of the game, on Rob Gronkowski for his inexcusable WWE-style elbow drop in Week 13. Satisfactory retribution for White is getting a “W” in New England.
“As I’ve had time to think about it, I knew he wasn’t that type of player,” White said on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday, via Mike Rodak of ESPN. “We just honed in and moved on from it. But I get the film Sunday, and the best way that I can handle that situation and just try to go in there and just get a big old ‘W’ in their stadium and try to help our playoff chances.
“So yeah, I’m not a guy who’s going to try to do a cheap shot after the whistle. Nothing. I’m gonna play the game the way it’s supposed to be played. Respect the game. Just like I said, going in there and winning would be the best revenge.”
Expect the Bills to be physical with Gronkowski in Week 16. The Patriots defeated the Bills 23-3 earlier this month, so Buffalo should have added motivation. Plus, the team is fighting for a wild card spot in the playoffs. Buffalo currently holds the 6th and final playoff spot with the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers breathing down their neck.
Vengeance will be on Buffalo’s mind. The best way to achieve that is getting a win.
