Two of the Chicago Bears’ best offensive weapons returned to the field Monday.
Tight end Zach Miller and wide receiver Eddie Royal both participated in practice for the Bears, the team announced. The two players were in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Miller and Royal were both concussed earlier in the month.
Miller is slated to start for Chicago this season at tight end. The 6-foot-5 Miller caught 34 passes for 439 yards and five touchdowns in 2015.
Royal went through an injury-plagued 2015, where he only played in nine games. He hauled in 37 passes last season. The nine-year wideout is currently the third receiver on Chicago’s depth chart.
