It’s been a bizarre tweet-deleting day for Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson.
All athletes get emotional after being injured. Football has an 100 percent injury rate. How athletes bounce back from injury is what’s important.
Anderson didn’t handle initial news of his injury too well. The Broncos running back lashed out on social media at reporters who said the running would miss the remainder of the season.
The fourth-year running back later deleted those tweets. As it turns out the reports weren’t entirely accurate.
Anderson and the Broncos won’t know the running back’s timetable to return until doctors go in and have surgery on his torn meniscus.
Putting his earlier deleted tweets in the rearview, Anderson sent out another post on social media that was more forthcoming and heartfelt.
