Jerry Jones doesn’t want the Dallas Cowboys to take any chances with Dez Bryant’s right knee.
“We’ll have to see how he works this week,” the Cowboys owner and general manager said Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan. “We won’t take any chances there, but with the way he was running at the end of last week, he had some sensitivity or he would’ve played. But we’ll take a good look at it this week.”
Bryant has missed the last two games with a hairline fracture in his right knee. Bryant has been moving around better this week, but head coach Jason Garrett said the Cowboys will take it day-by-day.
Dallas plays the Green Bay Packers this week and has a bye the following Sunday. So missing the game against the Packers could be the ideal rest Bryant needs.
