Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett knows that his team is preparing for one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL this week against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
“He throws the ball as well as anyone on the planet,” Garrett said. “He’s been hot for about 9 years. He’s a great player.”
Rodgers has also been particularly effective on Hail Mary passes, completing three of them in the past 13 months.
It’s something the Cowboys work on quite often in practice, and the players discussed that on Tuesday.
“We work on defending Hail Mary plays all the time,” Garrett said. “We work on getting a body on a body and blocking out like basketball.”
