It was bound to happen at some point.
The record will officially stand at 177 pass attempts to open a career without an interception.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott threw his first interception on his 178th career attempt in the third quarter against the Green Bay Packers.
Earlier in the game Prescott passed New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady when he attempted his 163 career pass without an interception. Prescott had entered the game with 155 interception-free attempts.
The streak may be over, but it was a pretty good one for the Cowboys rookie. Before ever throwing an interception he won four NFL games and has made a case to be the starting quarterback for Dallas.
