Rest and relaxation can do wonders for a team.
After resting several key players in Week 17 and having a bye through the NFC Wild Card round, the Dallas Cowboys started practice for their NFC Divisional playoff game with the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday.
The Cowboys had all 63 players in practice, 53 on the roster and 10 practice squad players, making it one of the healthiest practices Dallas has had this season.
That is an added luxury as the Cowboys prepare for a Green Bay team that has been rolling after a rough start to this season.
Wednesday’s practice, the first after the team had Monday and Tuesday off, was also one of the best the Cowboys have had this season from a competitive level.
Ezekiel Elliott: "I think this was the best practice we've had all year. You felt the energy. You felt the competitiveness."
