Unfortunately for the Dallas Cowboys, it seems that defensive leader Sean Lee may not return to action as quickly as hoped.
Lee, the standout linebacker who’s dealing with a hamstring injury, has now missed two straight games. And while the fans are holding out hope that he can return for the Thursday Night’s game against the Washington Redskins, it seems like a long shot.
While the Cowboys would love to get Lee back on Thursday, it may make more sense to give him the longer stretch of rest before the team’s Week 14 game against the New York Giants on Dec. 10.
According to a report from Joe Trahan of WFAA.com, Lee spent Monday’s practice working with the training staff, while his teammates practiced inside.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on how Lee progresses over the next day or two, but it seems like the Cowboys may need to find a replacement for at least one more week due to the lingering injury.
