Tony Romo takes part in scout team drills
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is going to contribute this week against the Philadelphia Eagles, it just isn’t going to be in pads on Sunday.
Romo worked in scout team drills on Thursday and in 7-on-7 sessions. It was the first time he practiced with equipment since injuring his back in the preseason.

Romo is still unavailable this week against Philadelphia. However, speculation is ramping up he could be an option the following week against the Cleveland Browns.
In his absence, Dak Prescott has turned into a rookie of the year candidate and helped lead the Cowboys to a 5-1 record. Dallas has won five straight after opening the season with a loss.
