Reports surfaced Wednesday that Tony Romo isn’t ready to play against the Philadelphia Eagles after the bye week, and he may not be ready for the following game against the Cleveland Browns.

This gives Prescott another opportunity to solidify himself as the Cowboys starter. The rookie has led the team to five straight wins and set a NFL record for career-opening attempts without an interception.
Last week against the Green Bay Packers, he threw his first career interception, but orchestrated a 97-yard drive late in the first half that sealed the victory.
