Betting line released for Texans-Broncos game
The Denver Broncos are losers of two straight games, but are still sizable favorites in their Sunday night showdown with the Houston Texans.
The Broncos opened up as a seven-point favorite against the Texans, according to VegasInsider.com. Both teams are are 4-2 entering this clash at Sports Authority Field.
Denver has struggled the past two weeks after jumping out to a 4-0 start. The Broncos lost to the San Diego Chargers, 21-13, on Thursday Night Football last week. Quarterback Trevor Siemian returned to the field last week after missing one game with a shoulder injury, and the Broncos were without head coach Gary Kubiak, who was given the week off for health reasons.
The Texans are riding high after fighting out of a 23-9 deficit against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. It will be a homecoming of sorts for Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler, who left the Broncos to take $72 million from the Texans during the offseason. The Broncos might be extremely motivated to make Osweiler regret that decision Sunday night.
The Broncos are 4-2 against the spread this season and the Texans are 3-2-1 ATS and haven’t covered a game on the road.
