Monday was a good day at the Denver Broncos’ practice facility.
It marked the return of Broncos coach Gary Kubiak. Kubiak took a week off after having going through a “complex migraine condition” that forced him to go to the hospital.
The Broncos coach clarified that his latest health issue was not like the stroke that suffered in 2013 while coaching the Houston Texans.
While Kubiak’s health is a priority, he is confident in the information his doctors gave him and is happy to be back at work.
“I spent some time going through some things with some doctors and stuff that I’m very encouraged, made me feel really good. All my test (came) back great,” Kubiak said after practice on Monday, per “It’s good to be back to work. I really missed a few days. It was really tough to watch and be away from it. So I’m glad to be back.” of ABC 7 in Denver.
Kubiak’s family reportedly gave him the green light to return.
His return to practice was a welcoming addition to the Broncos. Denver takes on the Houston Texans this weekend. The game is being hyped as Brock Osweiler’s return to Denver, but Kubiak’s health and return to the sideline takes precedent.
