The NFL really lives up to its reputation as the No Fun League a lot of times, and one way is by limiting what and how video can be used on its team websites and social media accounts. The Broncos wanted fans who visit their page to be able to see highlights of their 27-9 victory over the Texans on Monday though, so they had to get creative.
Apparently Lego is much more liberal about the use of its trademark material, because that’s Lego C.J. Anderson and Lego Demaryius Thomas scoring touchdowns, and Lego Todd Davis recovering the fumble, all set to the calls of Broncos radio play-by-play announcer Dave Logan.
Anderson knocking a Texans lineman through the goalposts while forcing his way into the end zone is a nice touch. Although somebody really needs to talk to Trevor Siemian about throwing a catchable ball, because that pass to Thomas had absolutely no spin on it.
Of course, since the NFL doesn’t allow their videos to be embedded on other sites, you’ll have to go to the Broncos’ web page to enjoy the video in its full glory. It’s worth taking a minute of your time though.
