The Denver Broncos could be without defensive lineman Domata Peko and Derek Wolfe against the Miami Dolphins.
They both did not participate at practice on Wednesday after being forced out of the Broncos’ 21-14 loss to the Oakland Raiders due to injury. Peko is dealing with a knee injury and Wolfe a neck injury.
“You want to be smart,” Broncos coach Vance Joesph said about Wolfe, via the team website. “Obviously his overall health is more important than our next five games, so we want to make sure he’s ready to play before he gets back on the field.
“It’s a neck injury, so that can be scary without knowing everything about it.”
Wolfe tweeted out on Wednesday that he seeing multiple doctors and trying to get back on the field.
