Domata Peko consecutive-game streak is in jeopardy.
The Denver Broncos nose tackle injured his knee in the team’s 21-14 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Mike Klis of 9News in Denver reported that Peko sustained a second degree MCL sprain in his left knee.
Peko won’t practice this week. He is considered week-to-week. His injury isn’t keeping the Broncos from ruling him out of their Week 13 tilt versus the Miami Dolphins. Peko’s played in 123-straight games. He doesn’t wan’t his ironman streak to end in Week 13.
The 12-year defensive lineman has 35 tackles and 1 sack in 11 games this season. Game No. 12 is in limbo.
Denver needs all hands on deck as they attempt to end a seven-game skid.
