Denver Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware isn’t quite ready to return to the field.
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak listed Ware as out for Monday night’s game against the Houston Texans, according to The Denver Post’s Cameron Wolfe.
Ware will miss his fifth straight game after fracturing his forearm during Denver’s Week 2 victory against the Indianapolis Colts. Offensive tackle Russell Okung and wide receiver Cody Lattimer are both listed as questionable as they remain in concussion protocol. Kubiak hopes both players will be cleared to return Saturday afternoon, according to Wolfe.
The Broncos have lost their last two games after starting the season 4-0. Getting to the quarterback hasn’t been too much of a problem for the Broncos without Ware. Denver has racked up 13 sacks in four games without the veteran pass rusher.
