The Denver Broncos spent four hours interviewing Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph before going out to dinner with him after Tuesday. But, no offer had been made as of Tuesday night.
It appears the Broncos merely needed time to sleep on it. 9News’ Mike Klis expects the Broncos to offer Joseph their head coaching job Wednesday morning.
The early speculation was that Joseph was the slight favorite over Chiefs special teams coordinator, Dave Toub, and Falcons offensive coordinator, Kyle Shanahan, and that an offer could be made as early as Tuesday night after the interview.
Then, reports surfaced that Joseph would accept the job on the spot if the Broncos offered it. By connecting the dots, it appears the Broncos are on the cusp of hiring Vance Joseph as their next head coach.
Although nothing is official as of yet, it appears the Broncos are close to making a hire.
