The Denver Broncos will take on the San Diego Chargers in an important AFC West matchup on Thursday Night Football for Week 6.
It’s a big game, though the Chargers are more in it for trying to right their fast-sinking ship and spoiling things for their rivals. The Broncos (4-1) are coming off their first loss of the season and need to get back in the win column.
But a secondary attraction on Thursday will be the Color Rush uniforms, which are thankfully toned down a bit in design this year, but are still pushed prominently by the NFL. The Broncos will wear an all-orange getup on Thursday.
We’re almost ready for the #ColorRush

Some Broncos players weighed in on their Color Rush uniforms. Some liked it, some did not. Count running back C.J. Anderson among those who did not, saying the Broncos would “look like pumpkins.”
But then again, all-world outside linebacker Von Miller is a big fan, and was looking forward to getting to wear them. He’s all about as much orange as possible, and given Miller’s unique fashion sense, it’s understandable.
Von Miller, on the Color Rush uniform: “The more orange, the better … I’ve been looking forward to this Color Rush game since last year.”

Tight end Virgil Green also said he’s been playing a lot of the latest Madden game, because the game features the Color Rush jerseys. He said he picks them every time and said he “loves everything about” the uniforms. They’ll be on full display on Thursday evening.
