When the Denver Broncos take the field on Thursday night the team will have at least one of their starters back.
Tight end Virgil Green will be in the lineup when Denver takes on the struggling San Diego Chargers.
“I believe this is the week,” Green said, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post. “I’m excited to play with my guys in California.”
Green has only played in two games this season due to a nagging calf injury. He’s caught 7 passes for 74 yards in two contests.
The sixth-year tight end has 42 receptions for 453 yards and 2 touchdowns in his career.
