Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller has a chance to catch or surpass a Hall of Famer in his 100th game.
Miller’s 82 career sacks is fourth-most all-time in his first 100 games. If he registers 2.5 sacks on Sunday versus the Miami Dolphins in his 100th game, he would tie Hall of Famer Bruce Smith (84.5) for third-most sacks in a player’s first 100 games, per Jeff Legwold of ESPN.
Smith is the NFL’s all-time leading sack leader with 200 quarterback takedowns in his career. Miller leads the Broncos with 8.5 sacks this season, which is tied for 12th in the NFL.
Denver takes on Miami at 1 p.m. ET.
