Not everything went according to plan for the Denver Broncos on Monday.
Linebacker Brandon Marshall went down in the team’s victory against the Houston Texans with a hamstring injury. Head coach Gary Kubiak told the media that Marshall is listed as “day-to-day,” via the Denver Post’s Cameron Wolfe.
Backup linebacker Corey Nelson would start at linebacker for the Broncos if Marshall can’t go on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. He recorded three tackles for loss and played very well on special teams.
However, there is some good news on the injury report regarding linebacker DeMarcus Ware. Kubiak told the media that expects to see him back on the practice field at some point this week.
