It looks like Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is healthy enough to practice, at least.
Sanders took the field during practice despite dealing with a hip injury sustained during Thursday night’s game loss to San Diego, according to Mike Klis. Offensive tackle Russell Okung and wide receiver Cody Lattimer were both held out of practice with concussions, per Klis.
Perhaps the extra days off have paid off for Sanders. Of course, it’s uncertain whether Sanders is healthy enough to actually play Sunday night when the Broncos battle the Houston Texans. There should be a stronger indication of Sanders’ status on Thursday when the team releases its preliminary injury report. The fact that Sanders was able to participate in Tuesday’s practice bodes well for his status.
Denver and Houston are both 4-2. The Broncos have dropped consecutive games after starting the season 4-0. Sanders and the Broncos will host former quarterback, Brock Osweiler, who left Denver to accept a $72 million deal with Houston.
