The retired NFL quarterback and reigning Super Bowl champion is set to roast his fellow DirecTV spokesman.
It’s no secret Peyton Manning has a sense of humor just based on his work in countless television commercials. Now the five-time league MVP will have an opportunity to show whether he has a knack for making people laugh on one of stand-up comedy’s biggest stages.
Comedy Central announced Manning will join a “star-studded group” including David Spade, Rob Riggle, Nikki Glaser and of course Jeff Ross to roast actor Rob Lowe on Labor Day, Sept. 5. And something tells us the 14-time Pro Bowler will not feel out of his element at all in this environment.
Set your DVRs, football fans. It’s probably fair to say Manning is the biggest name participating in the roast. Come to think of it, I’m not even sure what Rob Lowe is famous for.
