It appears Denver Broncos coach Gary Kubiak will be just fine after leaving Sunday’s game in an ambulance because of flu-like symptoms.
This is outstanding news for Kubiak, his family and the Broncos. Obviously, Kubiak’s departure from the game might have been viewed as alarming. But again, it appears this was more of a proactive decision.
Unfortunately, Kubiak and the Broncos lost Sunday 23-16 to the Atlanta Falcons. Denver’s vaunted defense surrendered 372 yards to Matt Ryan and the Falcons as the Broncos offense struggled with rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch, who was making his first career start.
