Von Miller and Demaryius Thomas have a chance to make Denver Broncos history in Week 14 when the Broncos host the New York Jets on Sunday.
Miller needs one sack to become the first player in franchise history to record six seasons with at least 10 sacks, per Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post.
The Broncos’ outside linebacker has 82.5 career sacks. Miller’s 82.5 sacks only trails Simon Fletcher’s franchise-leading 97.5 sacks and he’s tied for 57th in NFL history.
Thomas could surpass Broncos great Shannon Sharpe in a couple of categories. The Broncos’ wide receiver needs 58 yards and 1 receiving touchdown to pass Sharpe for second all-time in receiving yards and touchdown catches.
Thomas has 8,382 career receiving yards and 55 career touchdowns. Former Broncos wide receiver Rod Smith leads the franchise in both receiving yards (11,389) and touchdown catches (68).
