It was an interesting scene in the Green Bay Packers locker room.
Sirius XM’s Mike Clemons noticed that wide receive Jared Abbrerdeis’ name plate was no longer on his locker. The Packers’ Director of Public relations, Jason Wahlers let everyone know the missing name plate was an issue; Abbrederis was not released.
Wow smh RT @MikeClemensNFL: Just left the Packers locker room. Couldn't find Jared Abbrederis' name plate over a locker.

To those concerned, Abbrederis was not released. Merely an issue with his nameplate. Equipment staff is working diligently to resolve.

Who knows what could’ve happened in this situation. Maybe they didn’t have a long enough name plate, maybe it was spelled wrong or maybe they forgot about him. He has only caught 1 pass this season for 8 yards.
This is a lesson though, nothing goes unnoticed. There are dozens of eyes in the locker room when the media enters. A lot of people whose job is to make observations are mulling around in there. With social media those observations can be sent out immediately.
