Green Bay Packers list OT David Bakhtiari as questionable
The Green Bay Packers had an interesting name on the injury report Saturday afternoon.
Offensive tackle David Bakhtiari was listed as questionable heading into the Packers’ season opener on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a back injury, according to NFL.com’s Mike Garafolo. Bakhtiari missed time late last season with an ankle injury.
It’s important to note that the NFL has changed its injury reporting policy, specifying only “questionable” and “doubtful” as possible descriptions. That has broadened the true meaning of “questionable,” and it doesn’t seem as if Bakhtiari’s injury is very serious.
The Packers are hoping their offensive line can stay intact this season after an injury-plagued 2015 season. Green Bay will also get wide receiver Jordy Nelson back after he missed the entire season with a torn ACL.
