Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers saw the news that wide receiver Davante Adams is going to be a very healthy man.
On Friday Adams signed a four-year contract extension with the Packers worth $58 million, including an $18 million signing bonus. Rodgers was clearly pleased because he tweeted several money bag emojis at Adams, and a gif of himself looking extremely impressed.

Rodgers did make it clear in early December that he believed Adams deserved a big contract-extension when he said, “He [Adams] needs to make a lot of money this year. Hopefully we pay him.”
Adams is having his second big statistical season in a row, and this season he is doing it with Rodgers missing all but seven games due to injury. He has 74 catches for 885 yards and 10 touchdowns this year. That gives him a combined 22 touchdowns catches over the last two seasons, more than Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones.
However, with this new contract that means Adams will be expected to produce like a No. 1 wide receiver in every statistical category.
