Linebacker Barkevious Mingo’s tenure in New England is over after just one season.
Mingo has agreed to a one-year deal worth $2.5 million with the Indianapolis Colts, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Mingo was traded to the Patriots in August after spending his first three professional seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Mingo made four tackles in one start last season with New England.
The Patriots and Colts made an actual trade earlier in the week. Indianapolis sent tight end Dwayne Allen and a sixth-round pick to New England in exchange for a fourth-round selection.
