San Diego Chargers offensive lineman is kind of awesome both on and off the football field. On the field, he’s been a productive right tackle for the team and earned a four-year contract extension this past offseason after signing a one-year “prove it” deal in 2015.
Off the field, he just happens to be pretty dang good on the guitar:

Barksdale is hosting “jam sessions” most Monday evenings during the regular season, and that started this week at Humphrey’s Backstage Live in San Diego. Barksdale, who also sings along with playing lead guitar, and his band played a few songs.
It’s actually a lot more than that, interestingly enough. The Chargers actually announced in advance of the event that Barksdale invited local musicians in the area to attend the “jam sessions” and actually come up on stage to play with him. The event is official and costs $10 for entry, with proceeds going to the Fender Music Foundation.
