The NFL wants to take another look at the procedures done following Pittsburgh Steelers LB Bud Dupree’s vicious hit administered on Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the league has initiated a review of the application of concussion protocol following the hit.
Moore missed just one play after the big collision, which caused many eyebrows to raise and apparently caught the attention of the NFL.
The league is trying to get out in front of this situation before facing harsh public backlash.
It took the NFL six weeks to review Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton’s situation when he was hit in a game against the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 2.
