Jerick McKinnon celebrated his trip to the end zone in his hometown in style.
The Minnesota Vikings running back is from Atlanta and grew up watching the Falcons. So when he scored the game’s first touchdown Sunday he marked the occasion in fitting fashion.
McKinnon took it back to the old school, doing the classic Dirty Bird touchdown dance the following a 2-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter.
Falcons fans obviously don’t want to see an opposing player bust out the dance the club made famous in its 1998 run to the Super Bowl, but McKinnon probably did it more so because he’s excited to be back home.

Regardless of reason, the Falcons should do the Dirty Bird more often. It’s one of the best touchdown dances ever.
