The New England Patriots soared to 4-1 after a 33-13 rout of the Cleveland Browns in Week 5. Tom Brady was sensational in his season debut, completing 28-of-40 passes for 406 yards and 3 touchdowns will connecting with seven different receivers. With Brady back under center, many in Las Vegas now consider the AFC East darlings as the favorite to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy in February.

The Patriots are clearly in the driver’s seat in their division. Bovada has the Patriots a remarkable 10/1 favorites to claim the AFC East. New England has claimed 12 of the last 13 division titles, only succumbing to the Miami Dolphins in 2008. Brady, of course, missed the majority of that season after tearing both the ACL and MCL in his left knee during the team’s season-opening win vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.
No team comes close to the Patriots’ odds to win their division. The Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers are each considered 4/1 favorites to claim their division crowns. The Seattle Seahawks are considered 2/1 favorites to win the NFC West, the Denver Broncos are -160 in the AFC West, the Houston Texans are -125 in the AFC South, both the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings are considered even -110 favorites in the NFC North and the Dallas Cowboys have evenly edged the Philadelphia Eagles for +150 favorites in the NFC East.
The Patriots can further improve their odds in the AFC East by defeating the 2-3 Cleveland Browns on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Week 6 contest will be Brady’s 2016 home debut at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
