The New England Patriots strung together two-straight days of practice attendance on Wednesday and Thursday, aside from the team’s three players still designated on the PUP list.
Most notably, tight end Rob Gronkowski was absent from the Patriots’ injury report on Thursday, marking the first such occasion of the season. Gronkowski had been dealing with a lingering hamstring injury he initially tweaked during a 7-on-7 drill in a mid-August joint practice with the Chicago Bears.
“Every single week I just try and go out there and do the most I can. I’ve been doing everything now, so that’s why I’m off (the injury list),” Gronkowski told reporters on Thursday. “You just build it up over the weeks, over the days. It’s been now a week or two since I’ve been going full.”
One Patriots player hasn’t had similar luck vanquishing a nagging injury.
Brandon Bolden is the only player missing from practice. Breaks up a string of perfect attendance.
