Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan calls Patriots game ‘critical’
The New England Patriots are 6-1, alone atop the entire NFL and proudly boasting the league’s best record following a 27-16 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
With Tom Brady back under center following a season-opening, four-game suspension, New England has built a three-game winning streak, comprised of double-digit victories over AFC North opponents.
The Patriots are now two games up on the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East following the Bills’ crushing 28-25 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. It goes without saying the Patriots can build a comfortable division lead when they visit Buffalo in Week 8.
The Bills’ head coach agrees.
Rex Ryan on Patriots game: “I don’t know how much more important it could be than this one.” Calls it “critical."

The Bills might be without superstar running back LeSean McCoy in this “critical” game. McCoy injured his hamstring during practice last week and played limited snaps down in South Beach. He left Monday’s practice early as well.
