While the NFL has yet to announce its decision on a potential punishment for Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict targeting New England tight end Martellus Bennett’s knee and stomping on running back LaGarrette Blount, Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has learned of a repercussion for his actions on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.
Patriots WR Julian Edelman was also notified of a $9,115 fine for a facemask from Sunday's victory over the Bengals.

Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick was flagged on the play and Edelman was not.
Edelman was fined earlier this season after delivering a crushing hit to an Arizona Cardinals linebacker in the Patriots’ season opener as well:
