New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler has emerged as one of the premier players at his position this season. Pro Football focus recognized his sensational play by naming him to their All-Pro first team.
Butler’s legend has grown since his game-winning interception in Super Bowl XLIX.
When you check the numbers, it certainly makes sense.
Via ESPN’s Mike Riess:
Since Super Bowl INT, Malcolm Butler has played 2,090 of 2,137 snaps (97.8 percent). "Durable, tough, loves to play," says Bill Belichick.

It’s an incredible statistic that truly is a testament to Butler’s rise in the NFL.
Butler will have his hands full on Saturday, as the cornerback likely will shadow Houston wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins all evening as the Patriots welcome the Texans to Gillette Stadium.
