The Pittsburgh Steelers fell to 4-2 on the season after suffering a 30-15 defeat to the Miami Dolphins in Week 6. While Ben Roethlisberger sustaining a knee injury certainly didn’t help matters, Pittsburgh’s doom was caused by none other than Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi. The speedy back torched the Steel Curtain for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns on 25 carries.
Looking forward to this Sunday’s matchup with the New England Patriots and their vaunted offense, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin praised his opponent’s backfield.

The 6-foot, 250-pound bruising LaGarrette Blount has totaled 439 yards this season, 7th in the NFL this season, and 6 touchdowns, good for 2nd in the league.
James White has been a terrific complement to Blount’s power game through the Patriots’ first 6 games while New England awaits the return of Dion Lewis. White put forth his best effort in the team’s 35-17 drubbing of the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, catching 8 balls for 47 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding 19 yards on the ground.
The Steelers run defense ranks 13th in the NFL entering this marquee matchup.
