New England Patriots release Rob Gronkowski’s brother Glenn
The New England Patriots added former New York Jets fourth-round pick Shaq Evans to their practice squad on Wednesday. And the corresponding move is sure to bum out Patriots superstar Rob Gronkowski.
In order to make room for Evans, the Patriots reportedly have released Rob’s little brother, Glenn Gronkowski, a fullback from Kansas State.
Looks like FB Glenn Gronkowski is odd-man out on practice squad shuffle, with WR Shaq Evans in.

Glenn was an undrafted free agent this season who originally signed with the Buffalo Bills, making the 53-man roster out of training camp. However, he’d play just one game with the Bills before being released on Sept. 12.
The Patriots signed him to their practice squad on Oct. 1, but 11 days later it looks like he’s the odd man out in practice squad musical chairs.
