Aaron Dobson’s days in New England could be numbered.
The Patriots are looking to move the wide receiver, according to NFL.com.
Dobson was drafted by New England in 2013 and had his best year as a rookie. In his inaugural season the wideout caught 37 passes for 519 yards with four touchdowns. Although he quickly saw a slippage in playing time over the next few years.
He’s currently on the Pats’ roster bubble fighting for the team’s sixth receiving spot. Dobson is competing against Keshawn Martin, DeAndre Carter, Chris Harper and Devin Lucien.
Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Chris Hogan, Malcolm Mitchell and Matthew Slater have already solidified themselves on the 53-man roster.
Dobson has 53 receptions for 698 yards with four touchdowns in his career.
