Patriots announce inactives for Week 13 matchup with Bills

The New England Patriots announced their inactives on Sunday for their Week 13 matchup with the Buffalo Bills, and it included a little bit of good news.

Cornerback Eric Rowe will be dressed for the first time in two months after missing the previous seven games a groin injury. That’ll give the Patriots their complete secondary which should be a major boost for the defense.

Unfortunately, the official inactives list does include a few names that New England hoped they’d have available for this divisional matchup, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. Wide receiver and core special-teamer Matt Slater is once again inactive after giving it a go in pregame warmups with a hamstring injury, and offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle was also a late scratch with an ankle injury.

The other inactives are largely as expected. Linebacker Trevor Reilly will miss Sunday’s game with a concussion, defensive end Trey Flowers is out with an injury to his ribs, wide receiver Chris Hogan is out with a shoulder injury and offensive tackle Marcus Cannon is still nursing an ankle injury.

Running back Mike Gillislee is once again a healthy scratch. The former Buffalo Bills back will not get a chance to take it to his former team on Sunday.
