Left tackle Nate Solder was a late addition to the New England Patriots’ injury report Saturday.
The Patriots announced that Solder was added to the injury report due to an illness, and he is questionable to play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
Solder is part of a long list of Patriots players who are questionable to play Sunday. That list includes linebacker Kyle Van Noy (calf), wide receiver Chris Hogan (shoulder) and running back James White (ankle). Defensive tackle Alan Branch and running back Rex Burkhead have both been ruled out with knee injuries.
A home game against the Bills that the Patriots need to clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs sounds like a matchup that should not be much of a challenge. However, the Bills need to win their next two games to lock up their first playoff berth since 1999. Also, their only two wins against the Patriots in the past six years have come at Gillette Stadium in 2014 and 2016.
