New England Patriots left tackle Nate Solder was a late addition to their injury report on Saturday. He was listed as questionable with an illness, but he will play on Sunday afternoon against the Buffalo Bills.
Running backs James White (ankle) and Rex Burkhead (knee), linebacker Kyle Van Noy (calf), defensive tackle Alan Branch (knee) and wide receiver Chris Hogan (shoulder) have all been ruled out against the Bills. Linebacker Trevor Reilly and offensive lineman Cole Croston are also inactive.
With some depth issues at running back, Mike Gillislee will be active for the first time since Week 10.
The Bills will be without wide receiver Andre Holmes (neck) and cornerback E.J. Gaines (knee). Their other inactives are cornerback Breon Borders, tackle Connor McDermott, guard John Miller, tight end Logan Thomas and wide receiver Brandon Reilly.
The Patriots and Bills are in similar situations entering their Week 16 matchup, both need to win their final two regular-season games to secure playoff positioning. For the Patriots, two consecutive wins secures home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, while an undefeated finish for the Bills clinches their first postseason appearance since the 1999 season.
