New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady again had to miss some practice time, but it doesn’t appear that he’ll miss any playing time.
Brady missed practice on Wednesday with an Achilles injury, and was limited on Thursday. However, he was not listed on the Patriots’ Friday injury report, so he should be good to go on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
This may become a pattern for Brady for the rest of the season. During Thanksgiving week, he missed practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday before being removed from the injury report on Friday. He threw for 227 yards and 4 touchdowns in a victory against the Miami Dolphins.
There should be no problem with Brady only being able to practice one full day for the rest of the season if this continues. He has been playing under Patriots coach Bill Belichick for more than 15 years, so running the offense is like second nature to him.
Brady is 40 years old and going for a sixth Super Bowl championship — back-to-back for a second time. That’s worth however much time he needs to miss on the field during the week.
