The New England Patriots will have quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Both players were listed as limited participants at practice on Friday, however their status for Sunday is listed as N/A. That means they are no longer on the injury report and will be on the field against the Dolphins.
Gronkowski was simply dealing with an illness, while Brady’s injury sounded much worse. An achilles injury kept him out of practice on Wednesday and limited for the rest of the week. Brady told the media that he is fine, but a 40-year-old professional athlete with an achillies injury never sounds good.
However, the news doesn’t look as promising for wide receiver Chris Hogan and tight end Martellus Bennett. Hogan missed the last three days of practice and will miss his third consecutive game with a shoulder injury.
Bennett is listed as doubtful against the Dolphins with a hamstring injury.
